Life
On this day the angel Gabriel announced to Mary that she would conceive the Son of the Most High by the Holy Spirit. Mary's "Let it be" answered Eve's refusal and opened the door of salvation. Nine months from this date the Church celebrates Christmas.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, Word made flesh, may every "yes" of ours echo Mary's and bring you more deeply into the world.
